In the 1920s and '30s, Prohibition turned millions of otherwise law-abiding Americans into lawbreakers and spawned an underworld of moon-shining, boot-legging and related criminal activity. (Sound familiar?) We eventually made the right choice to tax and regulate alcohol rather than prohibit it. Maybe we need to take a hint from the citizens who repealed Alcohol Prohibition and apply it to another prohibition I can think of (cough, cough).

Ok, I know its my own dam fault (dam procrastination) but I did not think learning bash scripting would be this hard. Oh well my brain is cooked for the night, and I did get most of my homework done so its all good. I guess it would help if out textbooks were better, but its what we have for the class. I'll write something more meaningful soon but for now this will have to do, lol.

Questioning

I feel like crap today, I haven’t been able to really get a good nights sleep in a week now and it’s finally taking its toll on my brain, at times I think I’m completely going to lose it. Well school starts back up again tomorrow and to be honest, I’m starting to have my doubts I want to complete my degree work where I’m at. Not that I don’t enjoy school because I really do love it, but my current choice of schools is going through a major upheaval in my chosen department with the firings, and now mass exodus of instructors the department has lost over 50% of its staff including our program director. So…if any of you out there in my blog world have any advice for me I’d be glad to hear it.

Sometimes I dream of just living a simple life. A place of my own, working enough to live, someone special to cuddle up with at night and spend my down time with, good friends to share with, and enough intelligence to enjoy it.

The Begining

Ok where do I start? So many things running around in my head and I’m not sure as to which one to begin spewing forth.

Belated New Years everyone, you may have noticed I’m missing a word there, yes I left the happy off. I have a feeling this year will be anything but happy, more layoffs are coming, a full swing recession is just in its infancy, and in my gloomy opinion we are on the brink of a real depression, I don’t mean to cause alarm, panic, or depression and anyone who has an iq above 65 should have been able to see this coming. I hope the incoming Obama administration can slow down the decay of our economy, but so many things need to be fixed, it will be a major task to do so, I wish him the best of luck. So save your money, clean your guns, and watch for roving bands of looters. (sorry my sick sense of humor had to throw that in).

And I wish all who read this and your families nothing but the best for 2009

Hi There everyone,

I'm back with an all new blog I don't know if it will be any better than my previous attempts, but I can take a shot at it. and anyway I need a forum for my sometimes insane rants, and frighteningly logical musings, I hope I can make us all think, and laugh and maybe change a thing once in a while. please give me feedback whenever you want and I hope you all enjoy.
